Size and Price Guide

All prices are GST inclusive and in New Zealand dollars.

These sizes are the full size of the portrait. They are a guide and can be adjusted to best suit how the portrait will fit within the chosen size, as this can depend on the original photo. For example I may change the dimensions slightly, generally within an inch, at no extra charge.

Whats included in my prices

My prices include scenic backgrounds, shipping and mat board and backing (for pencil), there are no additional fees on these. Please get in touch if you would like multiple pets on a portrait, as these are custom priced upon commission, so I can work out the best options for you. Please note, pets do not need to be photographed together. It is preferred if they are photographed separately and then combined into one painting.

Postage 

Due to their value, the portraits are very carefully packaged and sent via Courier (signed for). National postage is free (included in the price) but international postage is charged separately upon completion.

Size Guide

Which size is the most suitable? Generally, as a rule, the smaller canvases are suitable for a single head and shoulder portrait, while the larger canvas are suitable for multiple subjects, or detailed head and body portraits.

However, it also depends on the photo. Some subjects make excellent portraits on the smaller canvas, Lucas and Bremworth (both my cat portraits) for example. While Sarg (white Standard Poodle), being such a detailed portrait, would have lost detail on the small canvas and held much more impact on a larger one. 

If you are unsure please get in touch. I will go through your photo's with you and help you find the most suitable size within your budget. 

Deposit

Due to the expense of the materials a 20% deposit is required at the start of the portrait, with the remainder to be paid within the final week the portrait is due . You are involved in the process the whole way through and you will have opportunities to make changes along the way. I always make sure you are 100% happy with your portrait. Payment can be made via Bank Deposit.

I have full copyright of all of my portraits.  These may not be reproduced in any form without my written permission.   

As portraits are very personal to the client, they will not be duplicated in any way.  However, I do put finished portraits on my website and social media, and may use them for marketing purposes.  If you do not want your portrait displayed on my website or used for marketing, please let me know.
