Willow

Willow was commissioned by Nicole as a birthday gift for her sister Sophie.

Nicole is a long standing client, and I have had the pleasure of drawing a few pets from her now, all real beauties and Willow is no exception! This turned out to be a really tricky one though, sometimes what you think will work, when you translate it to canvas, doesn’t. This was one of those cases, it was a funny angle and really didn’t look right. I had to get a bit more creative with this one and combine a few photos to balance out the pose! It worked out well in the end though, and Sophie loved it. Nicole’s comments can be read below.
