Tui was commissioned as an birthday present by Penny for her husband.

Isn’t she a beautiful looking girl! So pretty! I have to admit, this is one of my favourites. A fabulous photo to work from, and this portrait came out so stunning! I don’t normally do floating portraits but this was the chosen style and shows how beautifully it can work. I left the background completely clean in this case, as shading normally anchors from the bottom and it would have looked weird. Given it was such a dark portrait I think this was the best choice.
