Nala

Nala was commissioned as a birthday present by Brad for his partner Krista.

Nala was a well loved Chesapeake Bay Retriever, who they sadly lost just under 2 years old. Wasn’t she beautiful! We had a great selection of photos to work with and it was a great portrait to do! Quite a large one for a chest/head shot, and we incorporated texture/nature in the background with the birds, as she was a fabulous hunter. Both Brad and Krista loved their portrait and Krista gave my page a special mention. I’ve probably mentioned this before, but its such a rewarding job being able to do pet portraits. They really leave a huge hole when they pass, and its so special being able to give the memory and a little bit of love back to them.
