Keira and Ralph

Keira and Ralph were commissioned by Maria as a birthday present for her partner.

A real pair of cuties these two! Sadly Ralph had passed recently, he was a beautiful boy with his half brown face! We put together several mockups of these two with different photos, but in the end chose one with them both lying down. They came from seperate photos, but it can be easy to put them together when its the same angle.

I love this portrait, its one of my favourites. They were beautiful to draw with their lovely smooth coats and look so sweet together. Maria and her partner loved the portrait and an extract from her email can be read below.
