Kashmir

Kashmir was commissioned by Georgia as a birthday gift for her mother.

This sweet girl had recently passed and I had the pleasure of doing her memorial portrait. Having a black cat myself, I do love them, they are so sweet! This was a lovely portrait to do with her gorgeous striking eyes and lovely red colours in her fur. We decided to include the background but fade it right out to bring the textures down. I did actually make an addition to it, that little notch in her ear, but unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of that included! It was a lovely portrait to work on and both Georgia and her mother loved the portrait. Their comments can be read below.
