Ellie, the beautiful Neapolitan Mastiff was commissioned by Nicole as a gift for her partner and herself.

She is a gorgeous girl, larger than life! This was a really big portrait (for context, her paw was bigger than my hand)! I don’t often get portraits of this size, so it took a bit of working out and different process than normal. It came out so well, and she was just beautiful to do! I did trial the green in the background but it was very distracting, so I settled for a nice grey tone in the end to compliment her colours.
