Astro was commissioned by Steve as a Christmas present for his wife Kay.

A very dignified looking boy, isn’t he gorgeous. A darker Lab than some of the others that I have done, with some beautiful tones. Labs can be tricky for some reason, I have never quite figured out why. Of all the breeds its the one I find the hardest so far. He came out very well though and Steve and Kay loved their portrait.
